growing a reputation in their native brighton for traditional yet cerebral songmanship, the mojo fins could quite easily slip themselves musically between the introspection of elliott smith, the fence collective and the glistening pop sensibilities of later-day big star. bereft of any nme-led jamboree they have edged slowly into view off the back of simple world-of-mouth buzz and 'pinata face' looks likely to be the track that tips the balance in their favour.
