This lp showcases Chet Baker's vocal abilities at their peak and on top of that his trumpet solos are also exquisite. Kenny Drew's piano work is a textbook example of how to support a vocalist, adding instrumental spice without obstructing the singer, on par with Teddy Wilson's work with Billie Holiday.
